Bruce Peninsula National Park - Cyprus Lake
P.O. Box 189
Tobermory Ontario
Canada N0H 2R0
519-596-2233

Campground Descripton:  In the heart of a World Biosphere Reserve, the 'Bruce' is a place of global significance. The massive, rugged cliffs of the park are inhabited by thousand year old cedar trees, overhanging the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay. The park is comprised of an incredible array of habitats from rare alvars to dense forests and clean lakes. Together these form a greater ecosystem - the largest remaining chunk of natural habitat in southern Ontario.

Campsite 218  - Nice site!
Rating:

Camp Date: 7/21/2010

This site was nice, away from the road, but kinda close to your neighbour to the one side. The forest is pretty dense in Tamarack, which we liked. I bit of a walk to the bathroom, and no shower, which is a real inconvenience. Trails lead to some amazing geography. Site was a little smaller than what we were used to...sites around us seemed bigger.

Campsite 77  - No privacy

This site was on the smallside and right by the side of a busy road. There privacy was poor as you could see/hear everything that everyone to the left and behind and in front of the site were doing. My recommendation is to book in the East Camp site #'s 21-29. There sites were larger and backed onto the water. Very nice

Super nice site, nice flat sections for tents, 75% shade with a bit of sun poking through. Privacy is above average but not amazing. Close to clean flush outhouses with sinks.

Great site...enough room for 2 tents. Parking can be an issue on these sites, however you can fit 2 cars on this site. Water and washrooms are close by. This site is very private and there is a noce distance between the nearest campsites.
