Good site - close to bathrooms

This site is in Burley Campground, which is a long drive in from the front gate. I don't have a problem with that, except that we went on a bike ride, and it was a long ride just to get to the path. We liked this site, as it was close to the water tap and the bathroom. There is a path from the site to the bathrooms, which people we using before we arrived, so we blocked it off with our tent. It was actually the high ground spot as well, which was important due to the wet weather we were expecting over the weekend. The only real problem with the site was that it was exposed to the road vs being off the road. This was fine for us because our friends were camping in the site across the road, so the kids were back and forth a lot.

The lot was huge and privacy was good. Close to the washrooms but not too close. A little far from the beach though.

Another great site at Pinery. Lots of room, and some distance between you and your neighbour, although not many trees to separate you. Wasps were an issue, not sure if there was a hive nearby. Little too far to the bathrooms, the bikes got a workout.

Beach just over the dune!

Our family loves going to Pinery PP each year. This year we decided to camp in the Burley campground, up against the dune. Great site, lots of room. Comfort station just a short walk. Exposed a little to neighbours, but we were camping with another family, so it worked for us.

Camping Near the Bend

We camped here for one night, in some cool, damp weather. The area had just recieved some pretty heavy rain, and the site was a bit soggy, even though the surrounding sites had dried out. Must be poorer drainage here. Great location in the park - near the sand dunes - a quick walk to the beautiful beach. Private large site, good shade, good sun. We will definitely return to The Pinery.

Big campsite!

We camped here for 9 days and it was great. Our tent was elevated to stay out of any rain accumulation we had. It is close to both 191 and 197. Our friends stayed on 197. Lots to do at Pinery, we plan to go back next year.

Not much privacy, but the site is huge. We had 2 families on the site. Close to comfort station. Only other problem was that the campground noisy til early in the morning. Beach is awesome, as is the one in Grand Bend.
